There’s only ONE Tom Morley

Don’t worry, you’re in safe hands. Whether a crowd gets into it or not is ALL about the warm-up. Get that right and you’re winning and Tom has spent two decades making sure he always succeeds. Always? Yes, he made his mistakes in the first decade, the second has been plain sailing.

ENGAGING

Most people are worrying about an email they should have sent or a call they should be making. Tom neutralises this urgency by getting them to stand up and move in a simple exercise that generates laughter but it also involves full concentration.

BONDING

Breaking through a limiting belief on your own is good but doing it en masse is very impressive. If you hear yourselves singing in harmony in real time, your team there onsite, there’s no going back. You just achieved the impossible.

ENERGISING

How could you not be energised by taking a risk in public and seeing it pay off immediately? It’s like being a gambler on a lucky streak, ‘being in the zone’, then cashing in while you’re ahead. What a dream!

REVEALING

Those doubts and fears you had about joining in are revealed to be largely without foundation. They were useful once but they’re just getting in the way now. There’s a science to it.

Tom Morley is one of the most inspirational creatives I have ever worked with. His ideas spill out of him and the ability to make them happen comes straight afterwards. He is refreshing to listen to, is committed to his values and leaves the listener thinking "why not?" His drumming is pretty good too and he gets a party going like no other I know.

When you bring large numbers of people together, their first instinct is often to determine and demonstrate where they sit in the hierarchy. Tom’s ability to completely negate that hierarchy, in favour of unearthing the much more important red thread that binds a team together around an idea or an opportunity, is exceptional. He manages to tune in to and capture a resonance that everyone embraces, leaving people feeling not only personally inspired and motivated, but having formed what are likely to be long-term relationships with others with whom they may never before have passed the time of day.
